New Mac Mini that runs PT 12?

Ready to upgrade to PT 12, and I must (and I want to) move to a new computer, which for my setting pretty much has to be a Mac Mini.



But which new Mac Mini is known to work with PT 12?



As of March 26, 2015, AVID indicates that the Pro Tools 12 qualified Mac Mini is:

Late 2012 MacMini6,2 Core i7 'Ivy Bridge' 2.3 GHz



However, that Late 2012 Mac Mini is discontinued by Apple. You can't buy one, at least as far as I can tell.



From what I can see, the new Mac Minis currently shipping are “Late 2014” --- such as ---

2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5

or

2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5,

each configurable to 3.0 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7



Is it possible to get solid confirmation that any or all of the above configured and currently shipping Mac Minis work with PT 12?



I suppose it's understandable that AVID can't necessarily keep up to test and qualify every possible platform, but it's difficult to buy a new computer with real confidence that it will work with PT 12 when the presently qualified model is long out of date. I don't want to gripe; just want to get past this conundrum and upgrade.



Any advice on this will help a lot.
