I recently upgraded Pro Tools from 11.2.1 to 11.3.1. Directly afterwards Pro Tools started crashing. I can conclude, after eliminating tracks and plug-ins one by one, that any active Spectrasonics plug-in (Stylus/Omnisphere/Trilian) will cause the session to crash. I also upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite in the process, but rolling back PT to 11.2.1. fixes the problem, so that shouldnt be part of the problem.
I am getting no error message from Pro Tools, only an option to send a crash report to Avid. It has happened as often as every 10 minutes, and as rarely as once a day, I cannot identify a pattern, or a specific action that triggers the crash. It crashes more easily when the session is playing or when I am working on it, but it can also crash when simply left open.

What makes this especially weird is that the exact same thing happens on my laptop rig. I recently upgraded to 11.3.1 on that one as well. They are entirely separate systems, I have tried different sessions, and I have tested new user accounts. They still crash in the exact same way. I have the latest versions of all plug-ins, and all other VIs work just fine.
So from my point of view, it seems like Spectrasonics is incompatible with 11.3.1., but I cannot find anyone else with the exact same problem. It seems somewhat similar to what is being discussed in a thread a few days ago: http://ift.tt/1JgUQ88
But it seems like my problem is the only one exclusive to all Spectrasonics plug-ins.
Spectrasonics has only given me a generic answer, just saying that I would have to ask Avid.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or can anyone think of a reason for the crashing other than just version incompatibility?

I am experiencing the same issue with spectrasonics plugins on 11.3.x. I am going to try to revert back to 11.2.1
