I'll be posting this as well in the "Surround/Post" area, but wanted to share a video series that I recently completed with Scott Weber - the Sound Effects mixer from Person Of Interest and LOST. Scott has been a great resource through the years sharing his knowledge with students and in demos that we've done together. He also teaches here in Southern California at The Master's College in Santa Clarita.
The series shows his basic techniques and setups for mixing post on Pro Tools HD software and the S3 surface - but could also be extrapolated to other control surfaces.
Watching Scott through the years - he is really a great mixer who leverages every bit of the surface and the functions it offers. He picked up the S3 in no time flat and makes it look easy! Hope you like these videos…
