PT loses MC Channel Names?

I have MXF audio files from my editor (working in MC) and in his project he can see the 'Channel Names' metadata correctly but when I import the same files into PT, the Channel Names are changed to (A0),(A1),(A2) and (A3)

Any ideas how I can have the correct Channel Names show up in PT?
