Xmon with S6 functionality

I just finished building my S6, but I haven't set up Xmon yet because I need to get a few new snakes. I've never used Xmon before, and I'm a little fuzzy on what the physical inputs do on the back. There is also a warning in the manual that says not all features are available with the Xmon Eucon app, so I was hoping that a few users could chime in.



First off, the Main Inpots, Cue Inputs, and Surround inputs are all identical types of inputs, right? I mean, aren't they basically just named different?



Also, are all three of those inputs working an active? I have an RME interface in addition to my Omni that I need to feed into the monitor switcher.
