Auxiliary

Hi guys and gals just wanted to say ty to those that redirected me to some videos/ I have been learning but one thing concerns me. When I create a track and pick auxiliary there is no armed record symbol unlike instrument or audio? Is it something that auxiliary does that the others won't. Thanks again.
