MIDI Problem

This happens to me quite frequently (but not necessarily in ALL my sessions). When I work with midi and I use the grid (and quantize), the notes end up either a bit ahead or a bit late. I'm not using any real time properties or anything, just really basic. I can't figure this out for the life of me, any help would be greatly appreciated. Piano roll pic attached
