Newbie looking for help Access violation

finally got logged into Avid and ILok community...
finally got PT12.0.0 downloaded and installed...
now when I click to run it, I get the following error and it closes down.


"Could not complete your request because Access violation occurred, unable to read location: 0x0000000000000000."

Any ideas what I need to do?
