I'm just starting on an ultra low budget feature.
I believe it has been edited on some flavor of Final Cut, possibly a free version (if there is one), not by a professional editor, and the FinalCut export has had to go through some third party software (I don't know what) to convert it to an AAF.
PT reports the AAF as 23.976
QT Player reports the video files as 23.976
My starting session was set to 23.976 before the AAF import.
The audio and video look to be in sync so far.
BUT ...
A lot, but not all of the frame boundaries in the edited audio don't fall on the frame boundaries on the PT timeline.
I've never seen anything like this before with audio from a NLE.
Anyone got any ideas on the cause or whether it is likely to cause issues down the line?
