Pro Tool Express (10.3.4) was bundled with my M-Audio M-Track hardware. I seems somewhat limited in what MIDI hardware it will interface to: not sure how correct this is as I am just starting out and I don't have any MIDI hardware to try this out, nor do I want to buy any in case I then need to shell out on new software too.
So, can I connect and sample from MIDI hardware into the version of Pro Tools Express I have or do I need a different version. I've read somewhere that this bundled version can't be upgraded either so I'll have to buy a full version. Is this true? $$$:confused:
