Hitting back on Transport window

Does anyone know of a way to stop the back button on the Transport window not default the cursor to the very beginning of a track?

It would be really good, for example, if the cursor could return the closest memory location or the start of the loop that has been selected (as I believe used to be the case with Digital Performer).
