Can't find a discussion on this specific problem, so I am posting it here.
In short - Pro tools 12 is extremely slow when opening a session for a first time. Sometimes it even hangs and won't load at all. Once loaded, if I switch to another session, and call this one again, it loads normally. So if I have loaded 3 sessions the slow way, they are loading fine from now on. This is not session specific. Pro tools performance is OK, having on mind my machine is old (Macbook 4.1). I am on 10.9.5 with Mbox 2 Pro.
Activity Monitor shows "Pro tools Quick Time Server not responding" but it does not seems to be relater, because the situation wont change when I force-quit it.
Any suggestions are welcome.
