PT 10.3.10 and Waves plugins

I am using PT10.3.10 and recently encountered a problem with Waves plugins I've been using for a few months now (without a hitch). It seems that if I have the CLA Vocals plugin or the Vocal Rider plugin on a track and pull it up to make an adjustment to it, PT freezes up completely. Here are a few oddities I've found, though: Yesterday, CLA Vocals froze PT, but Vocal Rider was fine. Today, both plugins freeze PT. Another oddity is that when CLA freezes PT, the cursor will not move. When Vocal Rider seizes PT, I can move the cursor with the mouse, but nothing will respond to it. I've been reluctant to try this with any other Waves plugins until I can get the situation worked out. Its sudden occurrence certainly has me confused. Thanks in advance for your help.
