Gidday fellow PT ers.
Been outta the game for a long while and only have a pt8 version. Ive recorded an album over the last 6 months. im all done except for the vocals but starting to have alot of issues - i mean alot. my health(heart attack 2 weeks ago) my analog gear (replaced heads on tape machine, refurbed old mixer, mikes died, guitar necks broken) and now my Computer HD which is SSD OWC from last year in a 2007 imac 4GB ram OS 10.6.8 is corrupt and wont let me do a number of things anymore. digi002
My question is : - If i upgrade my OS to the latest 1 and update PT to at least 11, will this all work together on my fairly old imac?
was hoping i could make this system work til the album was 100% done, but its not looking like thats gonna happen. My computer wont accept my OS dvd install disk so im unable to do a clean install of everything. I guess im trying to find a way to get by with what ive got. Im not really a fan of constant upgrades.
