This would be track input output path/routing clarification.
With Xpand2, you can route one instance to the 4 paths to a midi or instrument track.
I thought I had it working, but not. Cant get the Xpand2 sounds to record.
Could somebody explain how to send the effect from each of the 4 Xpand channels to the corresponding track?
Here is what I attempted from watching videos , but they skip right over the details on getting the data down the needed path. I have no midi tracks to import but want to create 4 different drum parts on 4 different tracks.
1. New instrument track with Xpand2 on it.
2. 4 new midi tracks , I think they get assigned to the corresponding Xpand parts 1,2,3 &4.
What are the inputs and outputs and sends if any on each track?
Do you have to record enable each track to hear the Xpand parts?
How do I get each of the 4 parts to record? And to which track?
Can I record them to each one of the midi tracks or do I need an instrument or aux input track. I saw a version of using the Xpand on an aux input track , which made no sense to me because I thought it was used on an instrument track.
Thanks
