Right speaker volume louder than left after bounce.

I have a voice over mono track. The levels are fine coming through speakers or headphones within Pro Tools, but when I bounce the mix the result is a perfect audio level in the right speaker and a barely audible audio level in the left.
I've tried several variations with the bounce settings such as different mono settings vs stereo, even tried once using a mono master fader, every time I get the same result.
