Whenever Avid did the big site makeover from the Digidesign look to the Avid look, the list of hardware specifications shown became less complete.
For example, the maximum analog input and output levels of the HD IO -- which are fundamental to the system design exercise and useful information -- are not listed, even though meaningless marketing figures like "dynamic range" are.
Why is that? Do the meaningful specs compare poorly to the competition so Avid is hiding them, or is there some other reason?
