How do I get Xpand2 to show up in my instruments, please help?

Hi, so I recently purchased a MIDI keyboard that came with a download for Xpand2. I am using windows 10, and I've uninstalled, re-installed a million times and changed folders and everything with no change in outcome. Noticed that all the ProTools11 plugins are AAX type files but the Xpand2 is a .DLL file. I've been trying to get it to work for close to a whole day now but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm new to plug-ins.
Anyone with knowledge of .dll files or windows operating systems or any other suggestions are welcome thanks.
