Pedal option wanted to start and stop recording.

Hi all, I am trying to figure out the easiest way to hookup some foot pedal to start and stop my PT11 recording. I was curious what you guys are doing? When I am working on ideas etc I have my hands full w my guitar so Id like to find a pedal solution. My setup is below:

Mac 15.4 Pro 16gb running Yosemite and latest PT11
Allen & Heath QU-32 Console (still working out the interaction so triggering from there is not an option yet) For I|O and playback.


Any thoughts or solutions you can offer me?
