PT12.1: s/pdif before analog 1-2 in track i/o settings

Hi!

Why by default I get in PT 12.1, when I want to choose in a track the i/o setting and I want to choose out it says:
output: analog -> s/pdif -> analog 1-2

In PT 11 and earlier in was
output -> analog 1-2

I don't understand why it says s/pdif before analog 1-2?
