Stereo to Mono options

I have a series of Videos that I'm mining that have pretty elaborate music and sfx in stereo. I also need to deliver a mono mix. Combining the tracks center panned results in some wonky phasing with some of the orchestral components. Is there a plug in that can down mix these and minimize that? I was planning on stripping channels out of some of the strings but I was hoping for a simpler solution.
