Need Advice, regarding Air Music Tech, sample files

I just did a search on my O.S. C Drive for *.big files.
Those are the Air Music Technology, sample files.
I am assuming you refer to these as sample files.
I think they called it AIR version two, back in 2013 after acquiring it from Avid.
I found 845 files totalling 105 gigs of hard drive space Whew!!

When Avid sold off the product to Air Music Technologies
I bought the upgrade from AMT and installed it.

I also had purchased the Pro Tools Creative Collection back in 2007ish?
I apparently also installed the PT Creative Collection that exists in the
C;/Program Files(x86)/digidesign/ProToolsCreativeCollection... folders

So it looks like I have a bunch of duplicate files to begin with.
At least they appear to be duplicates.

Questions:
Should I un-install the older Pro Tools Creative Collection?
Is that older PT Creative Collection just a duplicate to the
newer AMT products, Structure,Velvet etc.

Should I uninstall all the AMT Air plugins and reinstall them pointing to a separate hard drive that I would use for sample storage?
I want to get all these samples off my C:/ drive. if it is the right thing to do.

What do you guys recommend?

How about stuff with tons of samples like EZ Drummer, Superior Drummer, XLN Pianos, Kontact etc
What do you do with huge software like those with many gigabytes of sample?

I'm trying to trim down my O.S. Drive so when I do Acronis partion backups it isn't so damn huge.
I like having multiple OS Partition backups but I am trying to figure out the best management system..
What is recommended?
Thanks for the help.
