Native Instruments locking has a known workaround of removing Avid Core Audio from the "Hal" folder in Mac OSx.
But HD has always had issues with Mac Core Audio.
Is any of the HD 'extra fee-Monies' going toward "core" infrastructure?
A general FYI that's been in other postings is the continual NI conflicts.
(I should have known the 12.2.1 would have put Avid Core back into Hal)
