Dropping sync after 6+ hours

I recently added a Sync HD and GEN10 to my system. Picture and audio seem to sync perfectly for most of the day, but after 6+ hours of working, the locked and speed cal lights flicker on/off and Pro Tools gives me the 'dropped sync' dialog. It's also immediately followed by the 'sync locked' dialog.

It happens more frequently as the day goes on, so I'm wondering if something is overheating. It never happens the for 4-6 hours of working, but by 8 hours of working, the sync drops/reconnects once or twice a minute. I have to shut off the SyncHD and GEN10 and run internal.

Has anyone experienced behavior like this with a GEN10?
