I'm planning a new PC desktop and need some advice.
I'm going to use the new i7-6700k 4.00mhz skylake cpu.
Can anyone contribute experience regarding what motherboards have worked well with protools 11 (or 10).
I will be using it with protools 11 (or 10 but not essential) and an antelope orion. (The antelope needs usb 2.0)
Gigabyte vs asus or ASRock
which 170 versions work best: gaming; ranger; hero; extreme; pro gaming; deluxe; (big difference in price and not sure if any of it matters)
2-way crossfire X vs 2-way SLI/3-Way Crossfire X (no clue what any of this means)
I will not be overclocking and will have 32gb of ram.
Any advice is appreciated.
