Need new mac...

So my 2007 Macbook Pro finally ate it so i'm looking into a new (old) mac. Reason being is i use a 002r with a command 8 and was running PT9 LE. Ran great...even with my 3 gigs of ram...I don't use heavy processes to mix. I would like to know whats the newest Mac (imac,macbook pro...) I can get and with what latest OS that will still work with PT9 and talk to my 002r and command 8. And what if i wanted to update to PT11? I know 002r isn't supported but if it works then great. I really only have enough to shell out for a computer at the moment. Any help is appreciated
