Protools and BMD Ultrastudio 4k

Has anyone ever successfully managed to send an analogue audio signal from the Ultrastudio4k into Protools?



I can watch and listen to the audio/video outputs from PT without any problems. But i cannot find a way to feed a single audio signal the other direction.


I have a Neumann UA87 going through Amek Purepath preamp and into the analogue xlr input on the US4K…but i cannot see a signal getting to ProTools.


The only way i can see the US4K in PT is to set up a ProTools aggregate I/O - but there seems to be no way in that to define any options!


is this even possible?


I’m running PT11 on a MacPro with 10.10.5 and BMD DV 10.4.1
