Weird choppy faders when playing back track.

Hey there,

I'm experiencing something odd in Pro Tools 12.3.

Every once and awhile when I go to adjust the faders as the track is playing, the faders begin to lag and their movement becomes choppy. The problem is gone after a restart, but sporadically seems to come back. I've noticed something odd. When moving the mix screen to another monitor (I use two), and maximize it, the faders act normally. When I take it out of maximize, the problem comes back.

Any idea why this could be happening?
