hi, got this problem every day: using workspace and catalogue for my sound archive. the search field is not what I expect. It's easy to explain: I need a sound of a driving bus.
type in: bus
I'll get: busy, busstation, bus: medium crowd and so on
the manual says: use brackets for your word, so:
"bus" - an I'll still get busy. to not get busy, I use a space bar "bus ", busy disappears but as well "bus: medium crowd" (busy and bus:)
yes, there are more fields to say what words to and not to search, but with a thousand times searching I must save time!
How you guys do this? Maybe I misunderstood the search engine?
Please no comments: buy soundminer. All I want is to have it as small and simple as possible.
Thanks :-)
