I am looking to replace my perfectly functional but now crippled (thanks Avid) Control 24. However there are more options and I'm looking for a bit of guidance from you folk who have used the Artist series units.
If you were to buy a control surface now, would you go for a set of Artist modules (I.e transport, control and 2 x mix units) or would you go for a C24?
I'm looking for the best integration with pro tools 12 HD.
I quite like the idea that with the Artist units as it would allow me to sit closer to my Mac monitor screens.
Anyway I would appreciate your thought and experience see, good and bad....
