Windows 7/64 PT 11.3
I've been using PT since version 6. I never had a use for Beat Detective but I might now. Let's say that I have a WAV of any artist that I downloaded and I want to put it in Pro Tools. Beat Detective is what I would want to use to find the tempo of the WAV, right? I know I could probably play the file from the desktop while I tap T. I just wanted to be sure that I should be using Beat Detective. So far I haven't been able to get it give me a tempo that is other than what I started with.
