I'm willing to go back to fresh Win10 install, let it do what it do and then install only Pro Tools 12 and Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 usb and nothing else other than what automatically installs with Win 10.. I'm saying this because I just want to start using PT 12 in portable circumstances.
I have done what I have researched to get up and running but to no avail.
The software seems okay until I try to use the interface with it.. It stalls almost every time I try to check the playback engine to see if it is being recognized. I also get that dreaded AAE 6001. I have the software but can't use it with what was a highly recommended usb interface. What settings are there to at least get up and running for just basic use?
The laptop specs I'm using for portable recording should be listed in my profile.
