HD Native PCIe won't recognize HD I/O. PT12.3.1 OSX 10.9.5

It WAS working... then after a mac restart the HD native card shows zero in/out.
If I reboot in OSX 10.8.5 w/ PT10HD the HD Native card DOES see the HD I/O.

In 10.9.5 / 12.3.1 I've trashed PT prefs, uninstalled/reinstalled the HD 12.3.1 drivers.

I'm *waiting* on Avid to return my call... while I'm not working on music...!

Any ideas?
