how protools 9 can suddenly and without any apparent reason do things that I've never seen it do before. Example. I started a new session. 3 stereo instrument tracks for drums converted to audio tracks. One mono audio track,(Acoustic Rhythm guitar) One mono audio track for vocal. All tracks are tick based and, depending on the track, either rhythmic, monophonic or polyphonic. After auditioning the vocal track I went back to redo a part but the re-recorded region shows a different wave pattern . I can't get it to look like the rest of the regions. (it appears as a wave pattern while the rest appear as blobs for lack of a better word). The level in that part is much lower than the rest of the track although it clips. I've checked everything I know how to check and I'm not doing anything different! I'm at my wits end! Can anyone advise? Please. Thanks.
