MIDI printer cable

Hi - I have a friend who wants to use midi - they have a keyboard that uses a USB printer cable and a protools interface that uses the 5pin connectors.

Is there a way to use the USB printer cable with protools since the keyboard doesn't have the 5pin ins/outs?
