I hope someone can help! I'm in the middle of a sound design gig and cannot access my sessions on any of three drives, two internal and one external.
They were all working well, I had been working in a session for a few hours and then suddenly I got a "Volume cannot be found" error message. When I restarted everything and tried to open the session again (or any session at all) I see the "Session is saved on a volume set to 'transfer' only. If permitted set the volume(s) in question to 'playback' or 'record' in the workspace."
I can't access the Workspace (or any other PT option) to shift from 'transfer' to 'record'. I'm also given the option to copy to another volume but when I try to do that I'm told the drives "are not audio playback volumes".
Have also tried disk repair in Disk Utilities and I have verified disk permissions on the primary internal drive.
Thankful for any thoughts, ideas!
OS X 10.5.8, 2 x 2.66 Dual Core Intel with PT 8 and an M-box 2 Pro
