Pro tools 12 annual paid upgrades, reminder?

I have bought Pro Tools 12, the full license, and am aware that there are annual upgrades that have to be paid for, and if you don't pay and upgrade you are stuck with the version you have at that time, unless you buy a whole new license.

I was wondering if you get sent a reminder email to do these upgrades, or do you have to remember yourself! I don't want to miss one and then get stuck with that version forever! But I havent had any emails from Avid so far since buying it.

Any ideas?
