Hello all, I am ready to upgrade my software soon. I am curious about opinions of what to do. I am a novice user but learning quickly, I've been using this for about 2 years. Should / Can I go from PTools express to PTools 12 via a crossgrade? One thing I wonder if ProTools12 includes are plugins that have drum sounds to create tracks for beats, mostly for rock and roll / Jam band type sound. I got the emails from AVID about upgrade deals ending at the end of the year so I want to act before then. I know that my software is limited to 16 tracks right now and that's a major reason I want to upgrade as well. I have windows 7 64 bit with 4GB RAM. Thanks everyone.
