What's the difference between these 2 ways of bouncing?

1. Open a new 48khz project, drag n drop a 441khz file into it, it sounds no problem (should it sounds pitch incorrect? It sounds no problem possibly it's because my PT is slaved to another clock source, but that source is invalid) Then I load some plug ins and bounce it into 48khz

2. change source into Internal,open a new 441khz project, import a 441khz file into it , it sounds more or less the same, Then I load same plug ins and bounce it into 48khz

Which way the bounced file should sound better?

What's the difference between these 2 ways of bouncing?
