MBP 2012 (oct) 2.5GHz 3GB RAM

MBox Pro 2 (ca 2010) Firewire
I updated my OS from 10.9.1 to 10.9.2 without checking compatibilities—not my best moment.
Now my computer does not recognize my MBox Pro 2 anymore.
My PT 9 works fine with the Pro Tools aggregate, and as of two days ago, the MBox was right there working together.
I have:
-updated with the latest driver
-ran Onyx cleaning on my system
-restarted everything
-searched forums with little success, and tried the FirewireHelper trick
All I get is the blinking orange light when plugged into the MBP through firewire. And in my System Preferences, the MBox says "not detected."
Anyone experiencing anything similar or can think of a fix?
