Newbie Q: Cutting and Pasting maintaining relative position question

I think this is a simple question but have not been able to figure out how to do it. Somewhat of a PT newbie.



I’m trying to extend a song of mine by cutting and pasting the coda at the end of the song. Two tracks need to be cut and pasted.



The start of the sound is not precisely lined up with the grid, one guitar strum falling slightly before the grid, and the other slightly after. I know how to select them but when I paste cannot figure out how to get it to paste in the same relative position, so the first strum is the same amount slightly in front of the grid, and the second slightly after.



Can anyone help?
