Right now I have an Apogee Rosetta 800.
I use it with an 003R to get the adat/optical into my computer via firewire, so the 003 is being used just as an adapter and nothing else.
The Rosetta 800 is a legacy product and the 003 limits me to 48mhz.
Since I am making a computer change I was thinking of selling the 003r and the 800 and getting something newer with comparable converters.
I don't need preamps but eith 8 or 16 high end ad/da convertors that will work with firewire or thunderbolt. I know there are products with preamps but I would rather put the money into the converters.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
