ER with Johnson J12 foot controller

Hello all. New to 11 rack. Love the sound. Is anyone using a J12 foot controller with the ER? I'm about to try it, but I think the J12 needs phantom power (32v?) which the 11r doesn't supply. Any help with a workaround would be greatly appreciated.
