Melodyne

Hello, I recently purchased and installed Melodyne essential 2.1.2 for Windows on my Pro Tools rig. I have Pro Tools 11.2 installed in a windows 7 64 bit computer. After I installed Melodyne it only shows up as an instrument using rewire instead of a plug-in. Is there something else after the install I need to do for it to show up as a plug-in?
