meter but no sound??

Hi,

I am new to pro tools. i'm more of a musician than engineer.

I have installed protools LE 7.3 on my mac mini and have a m box mini (light working) and a m audio key station. All plugged in and lit up no prob.



I am trying to record some music using the m audio key station. When i select midi track i get the meter registering input however I get no sound through the head phones connected to my m box. when i select instrament track i get no sigfnal and no sound.



up until now I have been using garage band and it is easy to find and choose different instraments. With this pro tools set up i cant seem to find any instraments.



Are the instraments included in the package (cd) or do i need to 'get' them from somewhere?



All I want to do for example is find some drum kits and record a simple backing beat then perhaps find a bass to add to the drums etc etc.



Where do i find the insrtaments?? I'm going crazy!!
