New Track Delay Problem

Hi.



I've got a delay problem with adding new tracks.



When monitoring the track, it sound fine, but on playback it's clearly out of sync.



The 'delay compensation' is checked. I've read about the delay compensation bug and the work around. In fact, I found one work around was to save and reopen the session, which fixed it.



However, I can't fix it this time.



I notice that the system delay is higher than other sessions at 7216 samples. Not sure why it's at that level, or how to reduce it, or whether it's relevant.



Any ideas?



DAW: PT 11.1.3

OS: Windows 7 SP1, 64 bit

PC: ASUS G73Jh, i7 1.60 GHz

DIF: Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
