Hi,
It's driving us nuts - every time my partner and I exchange files between our machines we get approx 1600 samples added at the head of the file when we open them on our machines. We didn't notice for a while except that our overdubs seemed sluggish and behind the beat. We've been recording a sharp MPC style click at the head of all our files to use to visually line up the files but that's kind of inaccurate and a pain and shouldn't be necessary. Anybody have any ideas why this mystery chunk of data is being added?
My machine:
Macbook Pro
2.53 Ghz, 4Gb RAM, 10.6.8
PT MPowered 8.0.5
His machine:
Mac Pro 6 core
3.33 Ghz, 10 GbRAM, 10.8
Logic 10
Thanks a bunch for your help,
Dean
