So I've searched for quite and while and it seems like Pro Tools won't recognize drives with a certain drive letter, in my case "A:". Is there a way around this?
My second drive holds all of my projects from another DAW along with my sample libraries, so there's no way I can simply change the drive letter. I can partition the drive and set another drive letter that is recognized by Pro Tools but then I'd have to manage two project folders for the same project just so that I can save my Pro Tools sessions on that HDD. I have Express and I'm considering upgrading to a full version when the lower upgrade pricing kicks in, but I'm not too happy about having to manage projects on two partitions because Pro Tools doesn't seem to recognize my HDD.
Thanks in advance for any help.
