It's running fine so far...
I have a MBP 5,1 2.66GHZ, late 2008. I had pro tools LE 8.0.5 running fine under Snow Leopard through an MBox2 for recording/mixing and an Mbox2 Micro for mixing.
Just upgraded to 10.10 Yosemite (upgrade, not clean install). Got a message after upgrade that Pro Tools was an incompatible software, but ignored it and started Pro Tools with the Micro attached, everything works fine so far. Haven't tried recording audio, but can open sessions and play back audio, open vst and rats plugins (kontakt 5 etc) no worries.
Hope others have similar experiences.
I did back up my Mountain Lion install before the upgrade just in case tho.
