iMac's and MacBooks in the control room?

In light of the new Mac Mini missing the quad processors, I'm now exploring (again) using an iMac or MacBookPro.



I don't need a display, trackpad, or keyboard but..... seems this is it other than the nMP which has those expensive vid cards etc.



Obviously, the big issue is the fans. I have a machine room, so my control room is VERY quiet. I can't have an iMac or MBP's fan cycling audibly in the CR.



Who's running HD (Native or HDX in chassis) with an iMac or MBP?
